Very good stay at Agora . I also had the chance to get an upgrade of the room ( from single to twin bed room with TV). The staff was very nice and efficient and the breakfast was very good and copious. The campus seems a little bit far away from the center but if you are experienced with the town it is easy to reach the Ramblas in 10 minutes by metro

The accommodation wasn't easy to find once we got out of the Metro, luckily a group of people we staying at the same place so they showed us where it was. There were no signs or directions of the location or entrance and it was up hill! The double room was spacious, equipped with the very basic amenities - bed, desk and bathroom. Well, it is halls of residence. To our surprise we had two additional pull out beds. For the size of the room four people could comfortably share the room. There was no TV, or tea and coffee making facilities. There was a lounge with vending machines for drinks and snacks, which closes at 11.00. The walls were thin, so could hear neighbours talking a little. Breakfast was brilliant, buffet style. A very good selection of hot and cold food to suit everyone.

Hotel is close to the metro station and the surrounding is nice. Our room was big and sunny, the view was great.
Very very noisy. Some students like disco music much, and play it in high volume.

Friendly, helpful young reception personnel; spacious lounge rooms and dining area; spacious bedrooms / bathrooms; efficient airco and WiFi; nice airconditioned gymroom on -1 level ; outdoor dining facility next to dining room; wash & iron facilities in separate room. Close to 'Labyrinth park' to relax.
- Unfortunately the hotel is too far from center and beaches; it takes a 10' walk and 2 metro lines (which take approximately 30-45') . So not really recommended if you want to make a daytrip in town or have a sunbath on the beach, return to the hotel and want to go out at night... Metro lines stop at midnight during the week, although there is a Night bus (Nitbus), but not really close. - Another important minus is the resonance throughout the whole building: too much noise in the corridors from running and shouting hotel clients returning at night... had some very short nights here:-(

1. best value for money.... little bit far from center 2. 300m from metro station, it´s 3. fantastic panorama view to Barcelona 4. rooms are new, with own toilet, bath, incl. toilet paper, shapoo, shower gel, towels...(its still like a hostel) 5. fantastic breakfast, big choice (without vegetable) eith water to take out 6. internet should by wifi in room not only on hall and reception
Little bit far from center but if you´ll get on metro, i can´t say nothing wrong. I thing it´s very good and clean hostel.... with goo connection by car..... near metro station.... fantastic breakfast.....

I and my boyfriend we liked the place very much. We had the cheapest room and it was big, clean, light and with a very comfortable bathroom. We also adored the breakfast which concludes to the price. There is a big choice of things to eat and you can take whatever you want till you are not hungry any more. If you want to eat dinner it casts 10 euros and it is also very good. We tried it once and liked it. The location is good too, 7 minutes walking from the metro. And the metro line goes through the main streets and monuments, like Cotolunia or Rambla. Others wrote about the noise... well, we were in the last week of august and it was very quiet! I will recommend this place to all my friends !

high budget friendly. University atomsphere. You can climb the mountains, You can have a trip around the campus, some castles are very derserved to see and not crowd as in the center town. Also love the colourful lobby with table tennis, free Wifi. and diversity dinner in clean dinning room. For the price, the breakfast is very good. This is my third time to choose this hotel in BCN

Room was quiet, generally clean and in a nice area.
Lack of strong/stable wifi was annoying. Room floor was a bit gritty--could have used a good sweeping.

WE liked it`s location (10 minutes from metro), also full breakfasts, clean rooms and english- speakin staff (that you should appriciate in Spain:). Also there is a very nice park Labirint close to the hotel, very beatiful but not so full of tourists as others in the center of the city. Being at this hotel is is necessary to visit it! (be ready, it is not free). Being in September we didn`t suffered from any noise! An excellent internet connection! But remember to take a cable!!! no wi-fi in the rooms!! only at the first floor.
Using buses will be very attentive to get to the hotel! At night we couldn`t do it during 1,5 hour!! and nobody in the street! The best way - to go by metro - then - look other reviews with descriptions how to get. At night there are busses 14 ... from Piaca Catalunia.

Set in a quiet park. Walk out of tube go uphill for 200 m then turn right at the roundabout into the park and carry on uphill on a winding road for another 300 m then go to your right straight down you see it past a disused outdoor pool, set as the only building next to the Velodrome. It is a student residence really.
Extremely far from Barcelona city centre and beach and any place of cultural interest. It is impossible to find when exiting the tube, I am a seasoned traveller use Android google maps, talk 5 languages, asked tube staff and they were unable to help me or gave me at best conflicting info.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Consider them for your next trip.
